The Cordless DUALphone is a cordless telephone that can be connected to a normal telephone socket and a USB port on a PC. The display shows whether your friends who also use Skype, are online. If they are, you simply have to press the appropriate green button and talk to them for free no matter where they are in the world.

Good news but not for Macs

I'm delighted with this item, and have an extension handset in my bedroom. Works all over the house, even through the massive chalk block chimney.

Just wish it was supported on a Mac. I have to keep an old PC running just for this!!

Plugged it in ran the software install and away it went. Clarity for both phone options great. We are buying another 20 for the office.

Very handy bit of kit. It accepts any cheap hands free kit for mobile phones. (the universal type with a mini jack)

Only problem, as a few reviewers say is it's got to be stationed near the pc...so I just got an "Olympia Additional DECT Handset" 3NQGWS, so i can put one in the front room too.

As for the it doesn't have an answerphone i still just use my old answerphone for the normal phoneline, i splashed out for a "skype in" number, so have skype voicemail too.

A bunch of my friends have got one too now, so we can all chat on skype while not tied to the computer.
