Can I part ship my order?

Read on if you'd like to know ....

  • How to arrange for part of your order to be dispatched [known as "part shipping"].
  • Why it is not always possible to part ship your order.
  • What the effects of part shipping are on the delivery charge.

In brief ....

  • When you make an order for more than one product, we usually wait until all of the products are in stock before we send it.
  • If the entire order is not in stock after 72 hours of your order being placed, you can release those goods that are showing as in stock and "allocated" to your order. You will NOT be charged an extra delivery charge for this. The rest of the products will be sent to you when the goods arrive. Please see below for how to arrange a part shipment.
  • If you want us to send out part of your order before 72 hours has passed, there is a way to do that .. read the further information section below.
  • It is not possible to part ship an order where you have ordered more than one of a particular product and the full quantity you need is not in stock. For example if you order 4 of the same cable and there are only 2 in stock. You will need to wait until all 4 are in stock.
  • Changing the quantity of products on an order will make a difference to the carriage charge which you will see on the order itself.

Further information

To part ship an order, you need to log into your account. You can do this by clicking this link or by using the link on the top right of the website. Once logged in choose the 'view orders & returns' option. Use the drop down menu to help you find the relevant order, then click the 'view order' button. The details of your order will be shown. If goods can be part shipped you will see an icon in the "part dispatch" column. Simply click the icon and that part of the order will be released. It's not possible to change a delivery address once an order has been part shipped.

If you can't wait for 72 hours to pass, and need some of the goods sooner, you can cancel the part of the order which is not in stock and place a new order for those products. You will be charged a delivery charge on the second order.
