Indie Game of the Week: One and One Story

Indie games come in all shapes and sizes. That’s what makes them so great. A number of the games we have featured previously have been the type of game which you download and play off your hard drive. This week, I came across one of the nicer, browser based title.

One and One Story, is a endearingly sweet puzzle game. Bear with me, I haven’t gone soft on you all. Yes it is about reuniting two cute characters that are in love. The distinguishing element is in the gameplay mechanics, whereby you will need to switch between controlling the male and female character to solve the puzzle and complete each level.

It’s a simple idea that is well executed and fun to play. As I said earlier, it is browser based, but very light and you should find that it runs smoothly on all but the most ancient of machines. I recommend giving it a go, I mean really, what do you have to lose?

Let me know what you think and please share your opinions and recommendations in the comments below.

"All this wine nonsense! You get all these wine people, don't you? Wine this, wine that. Let's have a bit of red, let's have a bit of white. Ooh, that's a snazzy bouquet. Oh, this smells of, I don't know, basil. Sometimes you just want to say, sod all this wine, just give me a pint of...mineral water." - Alan Partridge
