View Full Version : SO02759440 - Yodel's ridiculous attempts at being a courier.
So for the umpteenth time I have paid for "Next Day Delivery" and for the umpteenth time YODEL, the useless cretins that they are, have failed to deliver "Next Day" and instead tell me that "for some reason" there has been an unspecified "problem" and that my item wont be delivered "next day" but instead the day after.
Now seeing as how I actually **PAID** for next day delivery, I find it completely unacceptable that I don't get my item "next day" at all...
Every. Single. Time. This has happened with YODEL, they are extraordinarily bad at being a courier and seem to only excel at missing delivery dates and being paid for a job they consistently fail to do.
I paid for Next Day delivery.
I want my item ****TODAY****
So after having just contacted Yodel to enquire as to why Next Day suddenly became 2-3 working days for delivery, it seems that they do not do next day delivery to my postcode.
So I am curious as to why it would appear as a delivery option when I purchase my goods. Surely this information must be available to Dabs as a business partner of Yodel, and as such, even if the option to pay for next day delivery is put up, a notice somewhere on the page telling me that Next Day delivery to my postcode is not available so I dont pay extra for a service that is not available to me!
Yodel Excel must be the worst company I have ever had dealings with. I ordered a large television from ****** UK and have been waiting ever since for Yodel to delever it. First they turned up the day after I was expecting it. I phoned up and arranged a saturday delevery. They didnt turn up. After lots of phone calls arranged a friday delevery. They didnt turn up. Phoned up again and aranged a saturday delevery. Saturday morning recieved a phone call they couldnt delever it. They dont have a complaints department as they would need more people staffing it that drivers. Not once did I get an appology or explanation of why they wont delever the tv. ****** UK believe its gone missing in transit. (ie nice new tele for one of their staff). I would say one AVOID THIS ****ING COMPANY.
I know how you feel,
day 1 out for delivery 10am returned to depot 5pm, no driver called, no calling card left.
day 2 out for delivery 7.30am returned to depot 7pm, no driver called, no calling card left.
day 3 out for delivery 8.00am delivered and signed for 5.00pm today
I guess I should be grateful that I actually received my motherboard from Dabs today, what angers me is that Yodel drivers seem to get away with blue murder, twice they said they had carded my flat when in fact I had taken time off work and they had never been anywhere near my flat. This happens on a regular basis with Yodel. I try to avoid using them but sometimes it's just not possible.
I like the way my post is removed when i dont say something nice about a ***** company - rant? It was the bare faced truth, Yodel is ****ing garbage they send bagheads to collect your parcels in a ford sierra!
Its because people only post when they have something bad to say, you dont see people often hyping the company up. Its the exact with every other company. Yodal is rubbish but they do say on the email delivery times will be longer with yodal. Thank god I get parcelforce! really nice guys everytime and top service from Dabs as always!
