Could someone please help me. We bought a 32" TV for my brother in law as a present after he suffered a major stroke. Everything was fine with the TV until he was rushed back into hospital with double pneumonia and upon his release the TV wouldn't come on.After contacting Dabs,we was given a return number.TNT picked up the TV and delivered it on 3/12/12 at 10:35 and signed for by "Baldwin". I'm getting no help from Dabs e-mails (if i get any).The last one i got was to tell me that they hadn't received the TV (10/12/12).
What started out to be a very good present for someone who can hardly walk or talk (due to the stroke) now has turned into a joke. My brother in law is 45 with 2 children and his wife has just been sectioned.So life for him is pretty bad at the moment to say the least. With no TV and christmas fast approaching it doesn't appear to be getting much better for him.
All i'm asking from the company is a replacemant or a refund and could someone please mail me.

Yodel have confirmed delivery but it's being sent to the wrong address. They've told me to contact you so you can change the delivery address with them.
I live in devon and the package is meant to be going to Worcester the same as before.
I've no number to ring Dabs and yodel made it sound urgent.
Astra - I've merged the threads to keep it in one place.
CS should have been in touch regarding the change of delivery address - let me know if it's sorted.
Hi Phil, hope you don't mind, i've PM'd you about the situation. The delivery address hasn't been changed by me. I'd like it to be delivered to the address the first TV was delivered to (i.e. the delivery address). The company are delivering it to the invoice address 150 miles away!!

Now Dabs have admitted they've sent the TV to the wrong address. The TV is being picked up from Devon, drove to Bolton going passing worcester along the way .Upon it's arrival to Bolton it's going to be sent out to worcester at sometime.
The TV is touring more than Bruce springsteen !!.
Hopefully it'll be at my brother inlaws before Christmas. I find it strange that the courier company said they would change the address and deliver it to worcester where as Dabs have recalled it back to Bolton.
Anyway, thankyou all for reading and i'll keep you all posted.
The TV on its way to the incorrect address is the last one we have ! - I think it's a bit of a risk to wait for it to come back here and get back out to the correct address before Christmas.
The closest spec we have in stock is.
It's actually a better spec (extra HDMI, LED instead of LCD, slimmer, lighter etc)
If you agree to the replacement, it will leave us today to the original address
Dabs will also pay the difference in cost.

I received an e-mail from Dabs this morning saying that i had been refunded my money.As it stands no money is in the bank and i thought a replacement TV had been sent out on Frida, according to Phil. It's all very strange and i have no idea where i stand in regards to the TV situation.
Hopefully someone can shed some light on what's going on.
My money has now appeared in my account. Obviously Dabs didn't want my business anymore. Thanks for your help Phil and to anyone else reading this thread.

I believe CS have been in touch to take payment for the new TV - it did leave on Friday.
Yes phil you are right, CS have just this minute rang, taken payment and the TV should be delivered tomorrow.
It's like an agatha christie novel!!
The TV arrived at the correct address last night. My brother in law and his kids are over the moon with it. Even the USB socket works on this one!.
