Hey guys, me again lol
I just got an order today it was supposed to contain a 1TB HD, BD-ROM/DVD-RW and a Thermaltake Frio Ultimate Overclocking CPU Cooler. I got the HD and BD reader but the CPU Cooler didnt, only the empty box came, WTF? =o(
It was very light when i picked it up, i spun it around and i read the top and it said in Permanent marker, 'DUMMY BOX, PLEASE **** AWAY'. I was surprised because ive been dealing with dabs for a while now, in all my previous orders this hasnt happened me.
Just wondering if this is actually a common occourance, because it is a bit irritating.
Maybe the guy that's (apparently) started the 11 week placement spent his first day picking orders in the warehouse ;-)
Sounds like an innocent mistake where a box used for ****ning order picks has got packed instead of the actual item. The pickers in my old warehouse used to use empty boxes to save time looking for the barcode on the pulled item, sometimes they cut out the barcode and stuck it on the shelf, sometimes they just taped the box to the shelf.
I'm only surmising of course from my own experience, it might be something completely different.
Have heard it happen to people before from other places (including one that accused my friend of stealing it and sending an empty box back needless to say that site is off my list of shops), but I can see how it happens whether it is a new member of staff or not lot's of orders to pick sometimes just don't pay attention.
I'm sure the dab boys will be embarassed at this one- send them an e-mail and i am sure they will send a new one and possibly a sorry too

It is already resolved. They couldn't tell me what happened apart from a simple mistake so Cmdrx3 i'd say your bang on the money lol
Thanks Sam, i rung them yesterday and all they needed was my order number and a picture of the box, then a girl called Joanne, was very sorry. Im pleased because she rung me today saying it has already been shipped, and that the whole dabs team were sorry for the mix-up.
Very pleased with how you guys handled it, cause i sent the e-mail at around 10pm last night and got a phonecall at around 9:30am today, it was sorted out very fast.
Dabs customer service in my books is definitely the best i've come across on the net. =o)
