View Full Version : Order due in the morning but says 'processing'???
I ordered a laptop to arrive before noon tomorrow, the laptop shows as in stock but the order status says 'processing'. Does this mean it's coming or not?
Order number is SO02068921
Thanks for the post, Matt and I have been looking into your order and can see during your session you were incorrectly offered "Before Midday" delivery while ordering on Saturday. This is not a service that should've been offered as we could not have shipped in time for that slot. We are escalating the error to prevent it from happening again.
The item will leave today for delivery tomorrow and as such we will get the full delivery charge refunded to your card.
Thank you for that Dunc, unfortunately, I still haven't received it.
I was due for an AM delivery so waited in all morning only to receive a text saying 'sorry we missed you, please arrange redelivery' at about noon. I was shocked as no van had even driven down my street. I checked online to see that the driver had reported that he had attempted to deliver at 11:47, this was a complete lie, nobody at all had even driven down my street let alone walked onto my property.
I called DHL who said that the driver had attempted delivery and that I should have a card, I explained that as nobody had been I obviously didn't have one. The lady opened an enquiry into the incident and I asked if the driver would be coming today, I was told that this wasn't possible. I then asked if I could collect this evening and was told that I could not collect until tomorrow morning. So I then asked 'is there any way at all I can get my package today?' and was told that it was not at all possible.
Upon hearing this news I decided to nip to the shop as I there was no point staying in any more. I was gone literally 5 minutes and when I got back my neighbour informed me that I had just missed a delivery. I opened my front door to find a card. No time was written on the card even though the rest was filled in.
So, I called DHL again who apologised and are calling me back. I know this isn't Dabs fault but I can't beleive that a delivery company could act so badly. If I was told there was even a 1% chance that my delivery could appear then I would of waited in.
So, still sat here with no laptop that is needed extremely urgently. :-(

I'm convinced that some couriers hide near your house just waiting for the moment you finally give up and pop out for 30 seconds allowing them to slip to your door and put a note through the letterbox. What is frustrating is that the van must still be in your area and will be in radio/telephone contact with the depot so there is no reason why something couldn't be arranged if only to meet up at a mutually agreeable location.
