My very first DABS purchase which has failed
I bought the Corsair H100i from the DABS Outlet on EBAY.
Here is a copy of the message:
I ran out of space to put in any more text.
I bought this item on 20/07/13 for my new 4770k that I was building.
I put everything together and everything worked 100%.
It remained this way since I turned it on for the first time on 18/8/13.
Today I noticed that the light on the pump unit had gone out and the fans I had attached to the H100i were no longer turning.
I checked on the BIOS and the pump is not working.
Of course I turned everything off, removed the power and waited for about five minutes then I turned it back on - no joy, the entire pump unit is dead. The Item Number is 310700994083.
I am a long term customer of DABS - going back well over ten years - and this is the very first time I have ever had something like this happen.
I have no idea how to go forward with this. Any assistance would be appreciated.
I was very happy with this unit and I was planning to buy a second one later on this week. Could you tell me if my case is an isolated one or have you had other similar cases?
I don't know what the terms and conditions are with regard to a return.
Am I covered by any kind of warranty (having bought the unit on 20/07/13)?
I also don't know what I should return - everything or just the unit itself.
The reason I ask this is because the more stuff I put into the package the more expensive the postage is to send it back. That is if I still have any right to send it back having bought it on 20/07/13.
This is my first claim ever! So although I have been a computer techie for 30 years I am a total virgin with regard to something like this.
