Forum Inactivity Timeout

Could someone please increase the bl**dy inactive timeout delay for the forum. A few minutes or whatever its set to is fine for those making a quick post, but for those of us who may be making a longer reply it's a bit annoying when you go to post the reply only to find the inactivitytimeout has logged you out and having to log back in again.

This may seem petty...BUT... if there is a few new posts and it happens to be the first post you've read and replied to, it clears the rest of the unread posts to read status, which then means I have to go down each forum at a time to see the times of the last posts to see where the new ones where.

Weird. My log in seems to be exactly the reverse, ie I never get logged out and I regularly to have to press the "mark forums read" link to de-highlight threads I have read!

eg before the above reply, I read 2o2o's latest post in the brown laptop thread but after submitting my reply and a forced refresh of the main page, the brown laptop thread is still showing as unread.

Hmm, I will take a look at the current settings and see if it can be changed

The inactivity timeout is now set to 15 minutes, is this sufficient?

Also, I have changed the settings for how forum threads are marked as read, so you may notice a difference there but it should be more user friendly. Let me know if you have any thoughts on it.

Apparently I haven't read any threads on the forum ever!!!!
