Corsair announces Force 3 SSD recall - Published on 9th June 2011 by Antony Leather
Corsair has announced that it's recalling one model of its new Force 3 SSDs, due to stability issues.
According to Corsair, only 120GB SSDs with the part number CSSD-F120GB3-BK are affected by the problems, which don't affect all Force 3 SSDs. However, if you own an SSD with the offending model number, Corsair recommends that you stop using it immediately, even if you haven't experienced any problems with it.
If you have a Force Series 3 120 GB SSD beginning with a serial # of 1122 or earlier, you need to RMA your drive from ((12 June))

). I have read the thread you are linking and it just seem's to me that the people having problems are trying to use the drive in either RAID or IDE mode, none using the one they should be and that is the AHCI. I would get the drive check the serial number install windows on it then load it up and stress test it, hopefully it will pass and be stable.
