I actually managed to get all the way to confirming my order and was then taken to the Mastercard verification page. I managed to enter my password but the site timed out a few minutes after pressing enter. So I'm wondering, was I actually successful or not?!
Cheers

If you can get back onto the Dabs site, go into your account and check the status of the order.
Damn, was hoping to get one of these![]()

Off course I now realise that those on Twitter were all told about the nice offer in advance. It's a shame those on the forum were given a f**k you and not given any warning. Not everyone uses Twatter, so some advance warning for us might have been nice.

TBH this thread was started only to ask if it is going to happen and yet they failed to provide this info here. Now this is proper retarded ****. Providing info like "hey we dont know, however if we do we will post it on our twitter account" but nooooo that move would require someone to actually have common sense and care customers...

I tried to purchase 4 as my girlfriend, sister and dad wanted a touchpad as well. So buying more than one is perfectly legitimate. My order is currently in its processing phase.
With regards to the use of twitter, I felt that compared to over companies Dabs handled it extremely well, plenty of notice and the website, whilst it did slow and parts had reduced service the website still remained up.

Have to agree with this, not least since there are an awful lot of people who cannot access Twatter at work - myself included. It was only due to the fact that Dabs.com seemed to effectively die that I had any idea that something must be going on.
Bearing in mind that being an active member of this forum involves effort, whereas being a follower on Twatter requires none, it is perhaps surprising that, in this instance, those who come here were effectively ignored. Don't get me wrong, I have benefitted from being a member of this forum (in a variety of ways) but it is a bit galling to have missed out in this way.

Fair point but equally there will be plenty who would see the fire sale price as an opportunity to make financial gain. The question, therefore, would be as to where to draw the line. Personally, and this could be construed as being bitter and extreme (in reality it is neither), I think each order should have been limited to one item only to maximise the possibility of each person who wants one actually getting one.
