This drive looks and feels the part but it really is not...
On the second one as the first one packed up after 3 weeks, this one may be going the same way ????
Installed and working ok up to a point. When the PC ( uising windows 7 pro) goes to sleep so does the drive (permanently) so the only way of restarting it is to either reboot or yank out the usb lead. This does not always work.
On trying to save a large file to the drive the PC locked up, on restart there was a message '' Windows was not able to enable this device '' when trying to enable the drive through the Device Manager (a code 22). Only by some research did I get the drive recognised.
As I sit here with no drive recognised again (and daring to save any files to it) there are thoughts of ending this charade by getting a refund.
Any others having the same problems ?
