I recently decided to upgrade my PC and ordered from Dabs a new Motherboard, Ram, CPU and video card.
after assembling this machine I found the Gigabyte motherboard was faulty (2 ram slots wouldnt work).
Accordingly I arranged online a returns procedure. (board to be collected on Thursday).
However I requested a refund so that I could get an Asus mboard from Dabs. (I suppose a credit note would have been OK but I didnt notice any option to do that.)
An order inserted in my account by Dabs indicates they are not arranging a refund but intend to replace the Gigabyte mboard with another one when they receive the faulty one.
Having had one dud I'm a bit unhappy with another gigabyte board especially since the model now seems to be discontinued.
I've emailed Dabs assistance twice and got no reply, is this normal ? Should I worry that Dabs may now send me a dud board that has already been returned by someone else ?
Any opinions would be appreciated !
