Belkin F9J1102uk PLAY N600 DB Wireless Dual-Band N+ Modem Router

I need a new ADSL Modem/Router and the Belkin F9J1102uk seems to tick all the right boxes. Are you able to procure them?

Wow, that looks a lot like the Virgin Media Hub thingy-ma-bob router they're using (although I'm sure Virgn's is a Netgear router). Only thing that would have me concerned is there's no side photo's of it and that stupid V router has really annoyingly bright logo/leds on the side and front of the box. See if you can see pics of it powered on (haven't looked a lot) unless it's going to be somewhere unseen

Okay, so the front of the router doesn't seem anywhere near as bad, but I can't tell if all teh side shots are of the same side or a different one.

The front is pretty clear of lights except the below - part of the attraction. Although the key things for me are N, dual band and wireless printing/storage. Decent QoS would be nice and that's the one thing I can't find anything about.

Cisco E3000? Has lights on it to but you bearly even see them with the lights off.

The management software is terrible though!! You can do most things when logging into the router, except disabling the guest wireless, which is done using Cisco's own software on a connected PC. Problem is, if you're like me and the first thing you do is set a more secure password than 'password' you can no longer use Cisco's software to connect and have to do a factory restore and start all over again

g/b/n bands, 2.4 & 5Ghz, has wireless printing (I've not used it as I have a wireless printer) and a USB port for storage, but it's a pain to setup if you haven't a clue (aka me).

Just had a look and Dabs have the newer Cisco E3200 but I'm not sure if it has QoS, no mention of it. The E3000 does. No lights at all, if that's something you might prefer. I prefer the E3000 look personally, then the Belkin.

I have switched back to my 806.11/g modem because while in the range of the modem it's signal is considerably better and more reliable than the 4 806.11/n's I've tried. Of course the N does have a bigger range but as I only need the extra range in the garage (about 100m from house) I easily got around this with a directional aerial.

The Linksys and ASUS are both good ideas but... due to the position in which it needs to sit I need to have a modem/router in one box - both the E3200 and RT-N56u are just routers. The ASUS looks particularly good, as well! It really is a complete pain to find an ADSL modem/router that does everything I want. The Linksys WAG320N looks pretty feature-wise but I don't like the look of what are probably all flashing lights!

My G modem/router has been causing problems for a while so has got to be replaced, unfortunately. It's a Netgear DG834PN. It drops out regularly, often refuses to connect at all, the power cable is temperamental but, most annoyingly, it will only work at G/MIMO speeds on the default channel. Changing to a different channel to avoid other traffic means you are limited to B speeds, which is barking.

Strange, I thought I looked at the WAG320N but saw something that didn't fit, reading it again, I can't find why now

I've got the E3000 at the moment, which looks A LOT like the WAG and the LEDs are pretty dim, unless you're looking right at them, point blank. I'll try getting some photo's before the end of the weekend.

Reading about the WAG on Cisco's website I'm a little concerned that you have to select a broadcasting band and only use that one, not both. There's nothing that even states which bands they are (2.4 & 5 obviously but it's a matter of principle).

    Compare the wording:
    WAG320N
    E3200

AhA!!!! Single Band, but you can select between the two.. Proof(ish)
