So printer was 1 year old on Saturday and on Tuesday it decided to die of course, the carrier is jammed and won't come free (yes I do know how to access the carrier lock to release it). So am in the process of contacting HP hoping to not have to start fighting quoting the sales of goods act (If you sell to consumers - not other traders - they can ask for a repair or a replacement immediately (instead of asking for a refund) at any time until six years after purchase.) I have had to use that before and it is very hard to fight if the product is taken care of, unfortunately that one hits retailer instead of manufacturer so will avoid it until I have no choice. It is annoying though I should have done something sooner as it has shown signs of problems although they seemed software based and there was usually an update available for it when they occurred. Ah well here goes nothing....
