Expected Delivery Date
Daft question I'm sure, but on my latest order one item is out of stock. It says "Estimated Delivery Date: Monday 6th February". Apart from the fact that I'm itching for the parts to turn up, what exactly does this mean? Does it mean that Dabs expect it to turn up at the warehouse on Monday, or that I should receive it on Monday? I was thinking the latter originally, but it's awfully close to Monday now for a 1-3 day delivery to actually deliver something that isn't yet allocated to me, so I'm guessing that this is the date that Dabs expect a box of shiny new CPUs to arrive at the warehouse?
Anyone know? Cheers

Hmm, that delivery date text has now gone but it still says processing next to that item (Core i7-3930k CPU). Does that mean they're in now or that we've now got no ETA?

I typically find that that's the date the customer will receive their order, but if the supplier changes things or fails to deliver, Dabs will have to make changes to that too.
Bare in mind that the lovely snow will be delaying things too. If the delivery trucks/couriers can't get to a location, there's going to be delays. <-- I know, pointing out the potentially obvious.

Yeah, I know mate. It's just a little frustrating (and not Dabs' fault, I know), because the new case is sat in an enormous box behind me but I have no bits to put in it. I knew the CPU was out of stock when I ordered it and I was happy to see an expected date on it (some things weren't expected until this Thursday but are already allocated too, which is nice), even if I had no idea whether that date meant that it would be getting to me on that date or getting to Dabs on that date, but now that date has gone I have no idea when it's likely to come. If it's going to be much longer then I'll cancel that part so the rest can be on it's way and I'll try another retailer. Not trying to be unreasonable, I would just like to know when I can expect my bits to turn up as I REALLY want to get my new PC up and running

Dammit. It's updated now: "Expected delivery date: Thursday 9th February"
