....or be really sensible and buy AMDamd 965 BE cant go wrong
....will get new ivy bridge if price is right i shall wait and see what they are going for around october
Amd BE965 at 4.8, 16gb ram, 120gb ssd, XFX 7950, 2x 21.5" monitor!!
As I've said here before elsewhere, in some ways I was sorry I didn't just go for the 2500K, and then I say to myself sod it, I had the money which I saved specifically for a major upgrade. Sure I could have got something else with the extra money blah blah, but at the time I really didn't need anything else so I just said go large or go home. I was specifically buying the CPU for FSX, so AMD just didn't cut it and I was thinking of the overclock as well (4.9GhZ stable last time I OCed). Yes I probably overpaid, but that cost is long absorbed and forgotten about and I'm still left with a great CPU, so whats to regret really.

To be fair, I probably would have bought a 2600K had the budget been available at the time!
If I was upgrading now and not waiting for Ivy Bridge, I would get the 2700k and keep it at a 24/7 overclock of 4.8
