Usually I wake up really really early and never have time for breakfast... around half 10 I get hunger pangs and regret not eating or waking up that ten minutes earlier for toast and a mug of tea. There is a movie I saw years ago as a child, it was either inspector gadget or I think blubber where they had this machine that it makes the breakfast for you, fried eggs, buttered toast and a hot cup of the good stuff. I still don't know why to this day we have to make our own breakfast. IF I could have a second gadget I would have a voice respondent television. Lately I broke the remote somehow and I tried repairing it and getting it replaced and its hard to find. Instead I have to get up of the couch and go over and change on the box. What's worse is that every 3 or so hours it has this power saver mode so you have to get up and click a button or else it will go off.... (Yes I am terribly lazy)

You know, when you're on the phone to someone (particularly your mum) and they tell you what they have just cooked for their tea. And it sounds absolutely delicious. I want a food fax. They'd just say "Oh, I'll fax you some over". Mmmmmmmmm.

Yeah I think I remember the breakfast maker, wasn't there something similar in Back to the Future as well?

I do have a third idea for development, at the moment Its a work in progress but I hope to propose the finished idea to Dragons Den in the next 5 years that could change the way we live!

My idea is akin to those lovely cell phone signal blockers which are perfect for restaurants and the cinema but alas sadly illegal over here. It would be something to block anyone under 18 from accessing the internet after 3.30pm and during term breaks as my connection speed takes an incredible dip during those times, the only upside being teenagers are rarely out of bed before midday so mornings are brilliant!

Hi guys, some great ideas that we’ve had here, but I’m afraid there can only be a first, second and third place.

    The Winners are:
1st: Fenny- for the fantastic idea of cutting out noise in the cinema or aeroplane.
2nd: Tonyh- for his good couple of ideas for the breakfast maker and voice respondent television, plus his entrepreneur’s spirit through wanting to go on Dragon’s Den with a third idea.
3rd- ruth23- For her awesome food fax idea, if she worked in the dabs office she’d know how much we all appreciate food.

To claim your vouchers, email marketing@dabs.com and I will issue you with a voucher code. In your email just say who you are and what your idea is.
