Not sure on how a general return due to fault would work as you don't have the fault in testing it took heavy load for 2 years (simulated) for it to happen, but of course the problems with returning as a fault is you are returning to a manufacturer there would be a considerable wait for a replacement/refund under a normal return policy. So you wouldn't take advantage of the fact that you will have your new board before you have to return your old one, but at the end of the day it would be assumed you bought the board that suits your needs. In reality there is next to no difference in the boards anyway you might get a couple of extra SATA ports (which are inferior to the intel ones anyway) couple extra USB, a nice Intel wired network (2-3ms latency improvement gotta be pretty hardcore gamer to have that make a difference) and the NF200 chips which is good but only makes things more organised you still don't get 3 16x PCI-e GFX slots (think I went kinda negative on the extras there)
