How this Intel® Core™ Custom Desktop Challenge works

Phase 1: Finalist selection: Everyone who submits a mod desktop will be entered to compete in the preliminary judging. Our panel of judges - comprised of Sponsors, Intel employees, and industry experts - will select the top mods based on overall mod creativity, look and feel, technical enhancements, essay, and vision. These top mods will advance to the People's Choice finals competition and category winners.

Phase 2: Winner selection: From November 23, 2009 through December 7, 2009, all finalist entries will be displayed on the Intel® Core™ i7 Custom Desktop Challenge web site. You, your family, your friends can then vote for their favorite mod - which will be named the People's Choice winner. A panel of industry experts will determine which mods will win in each of the other five award categories.
