The SVGA resolution of the X110 presents sharp, accurate details. Colors are vivid and natural with Acer ColorBoost II+ technology, 2500 ANSI lumens brightness, and 4000:1 contrast ratio. And ColorSafe technology prevents color decay to preserve the integrity of your images even after prolonged use of the projector.
Presentation flexibility
With keystone correction up to 40 degrees, the X110 displays images without distortion. With the Installation menu, signal input from a notebook is no longer required to enable the OSD menu, making projector installation on the ceiling faster, easier and more convenient.
Enhanced usability
The Empowering Key on the remote gives you instant access to quick customization of power, viewing and timer settings. The wall-color compensation feature enables accurate display of colors even when the image is projected on a colored wall. And with closed captioning, dialog and non-speech audio can be displayed as text to facilitate comprehension.
Ecological functionality
Acer EcoProjection technology cuts power in standby mode from 5 W to 1 W, to conserve energy, that's up to 80 percent power savings! Other eco-conscious technologies include 4'000 hours of lamp life, a power-saving ECO Mode, and automatic shutdown after a pre-set period without signal input.

Couldnt be easier to setup and use. Comes with cables and a remote that slots into the projector. The “adjust to wall colour” option is great! Its displaying perfectly on my light chocolate wall! Keeps track of lamp hours. The 4000 hrs should last 3 yrs at 4hrs/day, by then Ill want a new p’tor anyway!
I can hardly hear the p’tor when on! (was my biggest concern). And you dont need a TV licence (I play IPlayer, ITVPlayer, 4OD & DVDs) so it will pay for itself in 2 yrs (TV licence=£150 /yr).
I was also pleasantly surprised when I moved it to the back of the room, making the screen huge! The quality stayed near perfect. Home cinema :-)
There is an “extra bright” (and eco) setting, but I havent used it as no need - as bright enough; I only needed to draw my curtains 1ce when there was direct sunlight streaming in and as I have it so far from the wall.
If you want to ceiling mount it, just get 3 M3 (3mm wide) 20mm screws, they screw into the bottom (through your ceiling or stand).
