This is probably the best value for money today!
With an AMD 710/750 STbridge you can get the locked cores open.
The ones ppl moaning they cant unlock are the 545 that isnt a black edition.
I got 3 stable cores running between 3.1-3.5GHZ without heat issues.And for basic dual core 3.1-3.9GHZ. Granted I dont use the stock cooler.

Very good price/performance ratio, current price £73.60 inc VAT, 12p cheaper than 1 week ago, but probably will only last till 31/12/2009 as VAT is going back to 17.5%, so grab it before xmas.
The stock cooler is small, with a 70x70x15mm fan, ok with normal daily use, but better go with aftermarket HSF instead if cooling is concerned, though when idle, cool'n'quiet will auto throttle it to 800Mhz to save power, other steps are 1.xxGhz/2.xxGhz.
The batch received is 0929APMW with C2 stepping, which seem to be extremely stable, and also this official "dual core" processor with 3rd/4th core disabled by AMD is marketed as "Black Edition", so it teams up even better with the mobo that has SB710/SB750 chipsets.
