Handy for brown outs/short interruptions

The ES-400 isn't the most feature packed UPS you can buy but it does do the job handling brown outs and very short interruptions to the power supply.
Provided you're at the machine (I generally tend to be) when the power goes down to save, close and shutdown then this is good enough.

I know it doesn't say it does here, but this doesn't have a link cable and software to automatically shut down your PC if the power goes off. I bought this having read a review of the Back-UPS ES 700 which does (as does the 550 which is only £9 more). It is dead easy to use if you know how to plug things in. So buy a 550 or 700 model, some more time without power and automated shut down.
