What a mouse!

4 way scroll from a tidy little grey ball makes moving around artwork, documents and the web so easy!

You get a left and a right click. Click the scroll ball (I have that set to application switcher). Squeeze the sides (picked expose for that one!).

Tracks great. No jumpyness or spooky phantom mouse movements. Can be set up to do all sorts with it's different functions.

Installation was quick and easy and the mouse itself is light and comfortable.

Great product..... a few bugs though.

Mouse initially kept jumping to different points around the screen, i found the problem to be the mouse mat i was using, have now replaced the mouse mat and the problem has dissappeared. So if anyone else has this issue, it's not the mouse it's the surface that the mouse is on.

Mouse constantly squeaks (like a plastic on plastic squeak) when the moused is pressed. Annoying to say the least. The product looks great but the constant swueaking noise just makes me want to throw it against the wall. I have read other peoples comments on this, it probably doesn't affect all mouses and apple should replace it under warranty.

Other than that it's great. The scroll ball is genius and astethically it's superb, nice and clean, very minimalist to go with the rest of apples product range.

However, mine is going back to be replaced, hopefully by one that doesn't sound like a real mouse!

I've been enduring this mouse for so many months. The first problem is with the scroll, at some point you WILL get a problem with this. It simply stops working. Lots of people have had problems with this, it's all over the net, go look for yourselves. For all those unfortunate enough to be stuck with theirs, there is a way to temporarily sort this issue out. Get a piece of paper and rub the scroll on this (quite vigourously - it shouldn't break). The problem returns every few hours. Then there is the two (squeeze) buttons on the side. You have to disable these otherwise you will be constantly getting dashboard popups etc. There is a right click but you'd never know it. I would definitely advise activating this. Next, it gets dirty, real quick, I'm not dirty so why is this happening? You constantly have to keep wiping it. I can't believe they haven't modified these design flaws yet.
