Good at the reduced price.

On the plus side, it has massive storage and the menus are very user friendly. As a back up device for music, photos and home videos it is brilliant. It's too big for the kids to want it, but small enough to take away with you.
On the minus, the touch screen isn't great and I find myself using the remote control.
The sound quality isn't fantastic (my Nokia N95 produces better sound) and it isn't nearly loud enough. (I bought it as a replacement for my home hi-fi with some outstanding Logitech speakers).
I'd have been disappointed had I paid the full price, but at around £100 it is amazing value.

This is a really excellent device for storing media files; it's especially easy to transfer and store music, video and photo files. The only downside is that you have to buy the extra plug-ins to be able to access all the different types of video and music formats. Once you've done that it works a treat. It can be used to browse the internet via wifi but it is slow and not anything like as slick as using a browser on a PC. On the plus side the display is clear crisp and device is as compact as any netbook. It's very nearly perfect, for the price it's a bargain. Well done DAB.com.
