I have had no problems with this motherboard, it's been perfectly stable. I've got a Core i5 installed and everything's fast enough for me at the moment with no overclocking, although I've read there's plenty of options for that.

Nice Motherboard!

I checked around and found this was a good motherboard that performed very well with the Core i5 750 from Intel (it's practically made for it!) and the automatic overclocking works a charm! Very good product at very good value!

Check your chipsets before buying! P55 does not support 2 channels of 16x PCI-E, this can only be obtained from the X58 chipsets. This is one of the down sides in buying a non 1366 socket MOBO along with 2x RAM channels rather than 3x

sounds good but take a close look at specs and if your someone who likes more than 1 graphics card ie: crossfire or sli which this board comes with both your attention is drawn to the expansion slot description which states when running 2 graphics cards in xfire or sli they will only run at x8 speed NOT the full x16

Not perfect but a good buy

This is a good, well made motherboard. I used it to build my first PC from scratch and generally it went very smoothly. The board features an automatic overclocking utility, which requires almost no knowledge to run. I like this a lot, and am overclocking my Core i5 with no problems at all. For more advanced users there are loads of manual settings but I don't know enough to use them. Just a couple of negative points - the back panel (which Asus calls the Q-Shield) is awkward to fit and requires quite a lot of force. I think lifting the motherboard up slightly helps with installing this. You also get a message about a J-Micron controller on every boot, even with BIOS messages turned off. Yes, it's a very minor point but I find it a bit irritating. The board is pricey compared with others, and I suspect you could get something just as good for less money. But overall, I'm very happy with it and think it's a good purchase.
