You would hardly imagine that it's possible to get it wrng with something as simple as a KVM switch. I have had this Belkin switch and my gripes are:
a) Switching is very slow
b) No built-in keyboard shortcuts supported; install a piece of windows software that switches on mouse click or reach underneath the table to push a button
c) I have had problems with certain 'unusual' resolutions (ie widescreen)
d) If the 2nd computer is on standby the switch reverts back the the 1st after seconds leaving no time to use the keyboard or mouse to end standby
I have just replaced this switch with a StarTech SV211 which is a huge improvement and doesn't cost much more.
