What is Standby Power?

Just setup three of these. One for the TV, Xbox, WII, BT Vision box downstairs and 2 for the computers upstairs. I thought I had several essential plug in items but after a bit of thought I only have 3! Phone, WIFI/ADSL router and my BT vision box.
While setting them up I found three plugged in devices that we no longer use! Saving already!
The concept sounds great; so far they seem very good (the quality of the product is high). Hopefully I will be saying the same in 6 months time when my 16 month old daughter figures out how to use the switch!

The "Magic Switch" !

I bought one of these as we had a mass of cables behind the TV & Wireless, and the better half was getting a little annoyed with the tangle.
All the TV items, and the amplifier is on it so that when we press the switch - the TV is turned on to whatever channel we left Sky on - the grand-daughter says it's a magic switch for knowing what she likes on TV!
I've ordered another one, and will probably end up with four ! It does exactly what it says on the box - and does it well.
Recommend everyone to get at least one of these in each room with gadgets!
