More than adequate

Bought for use with my laptop which has always suffered poor performance due to the location of the wireless router. Using this with my new wireless N router has more than doubled my average speed from 45mbps with wireless g to an average of 110mbps.
Installation was smooth and quick with no issues (I still use XP). Excellent value at its current price.

Great Product

I purchased this product for my Compaq Laptop which after a short space of a year, the wireless card had a problem and stopped working. After looking for a solution to the problem, I found many more were suffering with the same problem. So the only way to fix it was to purchase an External Network Adaptor. After looking around, this was the best for the money so decided to order.
I ordered the product on Wednesday at 11:40 PM and received the item on Friday at 1:35 PM. Very fast delivery!
Setup was very easy. Simply install software, then plug the device in and you can connect to the internet as normal. The adaptor and its USB stand is made of very high quality materials and is overall a very stylish piece of kit.
If you want a good quality Wireless USB Adaptor, for a great price then this is certainly the way to go.
5 Stars!

Good product

I bought this product for my desktop that is running Windows 7 64bit. I had an old Belkin G USB adapter that was not compatible with Windows 7 so I was forced to buy a new one. For the price I paid (£20) is was about the same price as a G rated one, so I went for the N rated one even though my router still G (future proof my desktop).
I was concerned that the Belkin N wireless adapter would not work on Windows 7. Says on the product and this website it works with Vista, so I was fairly confident it should be ok.
Plug it in, Windows detected it but could not automatically install the drivers, I had to manually install them via the device manager, update drivers and then find the Vista32 or Vista64 drivers under the InstallationFiles folder on the CD.

Reasonable VFM

Setup easy enough. Works fine (had 2 drop outs in a week where I had to "repair" it to get it working again. Have two delivered on same day - possibly different chipsets, so it looks as they mix and match a bit. Given the cost I'd say pretty good value for money

Good little connector if a bit tempramental

Bought two of these in November 2008 for my kids' pc's. One has been installed no problems and has worked fine but the other has proved to be a little more touchy. At least once a week it stops working altogether and although the pc knows its there, there is no signal. After it "goes on holiday" for a couple of hours it just suddenly starts working again. Run diagnostic checks etc but the problem is definitely with the Belkin adapter, so as I said one has worked just fine and the other is..............well, a Friday afternoon model shall we say!

Useless on resumes...
Reviewed by Phillip Biggs. Review Posted 26/04/2010
I read the other good review before buying this and a lot of what they say is true. It's easy to set up and in my position at least I get an excellent signal to the 56g router. But then the router is in the next room. The major drawback for me is that on resume from standby or hibernation the adapter doesn't reconnect every time. I flaf about with it ejecting it and putting it back in, disable and re enable it but eventually have to do a reboot and reload all my programs. This a complete pain, which is why for ease of use it gets a 1 and value for money another 1. If I'd become aware of this problem early enough I'd have sent it back for a refund.
