Had this monitor for awhile, and it has worked perfectly. Great for gaming and general use.
There was a dead pixel when first used it but it has since disappeared. So a great buy.

I got this as a screen for the kids homework computer. Its a little bit 'plasticky' which for £80 what did I expect but it worked out of the box with no dead pixels. At 9" x 16" visible screen area its a versatile screen with good colour and contrast and it even has built in speakers (helping clear the desktop of clutter). Whilst I think its a bit small in height for editing photo's, large spread sheets, long word documents etc, its perfect for its planned use and with a 36mth guarantee it truely is 'best value'. I couldn't ask for more, thank you Dabs.

As said in the product description the monitor I received while black is not the same as the picture. Also the maximum resolution is one step below 1440x900. It's 13x900. That said it cannot be faulted, great contrast, viewing angle, sharp picture, fast 5ms response so even good for gaming and video. No reason you should spend more than this on a monitor unless you want something bigger. For a computer used all day for work I would suggest a 21inch version of the same monitor.
