I must admit to not getting my expectations up about what a seven quid switch would achieve, but I am definitely smiling now. Yeah the device case is totally made of plastic but it looks fine. Most importantly though, it performs brilliantly. No configuration whatsoever required - it works straight out of the box. The switch figures out what cables are going where, and if you have used a crossover or standard cable for network uplink. I used the switch to connect my Home Theatre PC and my Blu-Ray Player to a home plug (powerline network) adapter and both devices are happily accessing the network quickly and without any fuss. All in all, when you consider you are getting all this capability for such a tiny price it simply has to get a five star review. Well done DABS for sourcing such a fine piece of kit!

I bought this because I needed to use my pc and my xbox360 at the same time without switching cables as I only have one ethernet cable coming from the router downstairs. I was a bit skeptical about quality because of the price but I am very happy. This product was so easy to set up and it just worked straight out of the box. A brilliant buy for the price.

I was looking for something that I could connect to my router with one long ethernet cable and have several cables coming out, rather than having multiple extra long cables connected to my router. The perils of having your router in one room and devices that need a cabled internet connection in another.
This switch works brilliantly, it was just a case of connecting the router and the cabled devices to it and plugging it in. It worked straight away and did not interfere with any of my router settings. The internet connection is as fast and reliable as it was before too.
A fantastic simple product with a fantastic price.
