It is used for high speed server or switch-to-switch connections. The maximum throughput of every port can reach up to 200Mbps .

The GS-118P built-in non-blocking and Store-and-forward architecture enables your network with full-wire speed connections. Supports Auto-MDI/MDI-X and Auto Sensing
The GS-118P supports PnP (plug and play) installation and auto-MDI/MDI-X function. You can connect the GS-118P with computers or Ethernet devices without any configuration. You can also use eitherstraight-through or cross-over Ethernet cable and combine 10Mbps or 100Mbps devices connected with the GS-118P. The switch will automatically detect the right cable and speed of your devices.

With new generation power saving mode, the GS-118P can reduce power consumption. It is the best solution for home and small business.

Tiny bit of kit, plug it in, turn it on, it just works!
all 8 ports work, power lights work, it all simply works. Remarkable value for money to do a necessary but mundane job, why spend more?
