Solution to problem I discussed above

This is the solution to the apparent incompatibility some will find with Windows 7 64 bit: SOLUTION TO DRIVER ISSUE: (For the solution thx "pa3x" from Microsoft Technet) 1. Go to Device Manager, then right click eHome Infrared Receiver (USBCIR), choose Update driver. 2. Click on Browse for driver, then Let me pick... 3. Select USB Composite device instead eHome Infrared Receiver (USBCIR). 4. Restart. Having discovered this solution after about 1 and a half hours research, I now find the Product works perfectly and have consequently given it top marks in all 3 rating areas. Hope this helps someone else.

Good product which could be great

This product was purchased as part of a base unit upgrade. Installation is easy if you have a spare 3.5" bay and USB header on your motherboard. Other than the SIM reader, all software installs automatically.
My one gripe with the product is that it has a red LED permanently lit, even when the system is off.

No good under Windows 7 64bit

This product will NOT function under Windows 7 64bit!
The only thing that works is the USB port (haven't tried the SIM slot)but nothing else functions. Impossible to find drivers for it as quite impossible to find a website for Cit. Windows recognises it and declares everything properly installed except for an infra-red device which it says cannot start. Hardly surprising as it doesn't have one!
If you have Windows 7 64bit, do NOT buy this.
