The Dynamo85 UPS houses a powerful 850VA maintenance free battery which constantly supplies clean power to all attached devices, filtering out common (and not so common) power faults such as brown outs, spikes, transients and complete power failure. By automatically switching to it's builtin rechargeable battery in less than 10 microseconds you'll be notified visually and audibly that your running on battery power, giving you on average between 10~30 minutes run-time*, more than enough to backup your files and shutdown the system

Works but it very noisty

This is the first time I've used anything but Belkin UPS's and I must say it's very noisy in comparison. I've had "best value" stuff before and I'm very impressed.( 4x22" flat screens and 1 Notebook.(£189.00) so I was a little shocked that it was so noisy. I use it in a recording studio so I will have to put it in a ventilated sound proof housing.

Little bit of audible hum from transformer but.....
Not much good as an unattended UPS. It doesn't restart if the power fails for long enough for the batteries to fully discharge!

I was using this UPS as a back up for control voltage on an industrial machine. The load was measured at 2 Amps so this should have had more than enough power to cope,when the input power was switched off the output died.
The user manual was written by someone who obviously does not speak English and is very poor. It also states do not use it on any other load apart from a computer (which is what I am doing) however its no good for me finding this out after I had bought it. Whether this is the cause of it not working I dont know, it powers up a PS3 ok which is rated at 1.8 Amps
