Not up to BT's usual standards

PROS:
Simple enough to use.
CONS:
* LCD screen is faint on rechargeable batteries. You have to look from a certain angle (which obscures a little of the display.)
* Instructions state caller ID doesn't work without 3xAA batteries installed – however it seems other things don't work [properly] without batteries either [such as LCD screen, which is essential for anything apart from just making calls.]
* On rare occasions, using the cables supplied with the phone, we've had an unreliable connection, so that wiggling wires/ repositioning the phone slightly makes the sound go on and off.
* Sound quality is awful, and it's not just the line bandwidth causing it... A little tinny, with or without batteries installed.
* Instructions are unclear. Black on black, in tiny lettering: "CAUTION! DISCONNECT FROM PHONE LINE BEFORE REPLACING BATTERY." i.e., “we did a poor job of design, so you've got to compensate for that.”
