The Canon HD camera system combines a 3.3-megapixel Full HD CMOS sensor, a 15x optical zoom Canon HD video lens and the DIGIC DV III processor to deliver superb Full HD movies.

Video snapshot makes it incredibly easy to share movies. When the record button is pressed, a 4-second clip is captured. Film live action or choose clips from movies already shot. Then add them to a playlist, select a soundtrack, and you're ready to watch your movie on a TV - no need for editing.

Great features make moviemaking easy. Instant AF is the best way to achieve accurate auto focus at speed. For people shots, Face Detection technology optimizes settings for up to 35 faces per frame. 25p cinema mode matches the look of traditional film and also provides enhanced low-light shooting performance.
