Bought a couple of these several months ago as portable storage to carry on my key-ring in my pocket. One recently stopped working but after months of living in my jeans pocket (with all the abuse that entails!) and with not a single I/O error in that time I can't really fault it; the other is still soldiering on.
Obviously check out larger sizes (there's an 8Gb model at the time of writing), but overall these are excellent USB keys.

PROS: * DESIGN and construction is excellent - seems fairly robust as well as being a very convenient size. The "mini" size also will help prevent accidentally knocking & bending the device (all too easy on bigger devices.) The retractable port is well constructed and ergonomic. * Advertised features include ECC (error correction code) and wear levelling support. After several previous experiences with corrupted files (MS Access databases are particularly bad on FLASH), I would never buy a flash device without ECC and wear levelling so these were deciding factors for me in purchasing this device. Tested with 22MB and 450MB files, transfer speed was about 7.5MBytes/sec (i.e., 60Mbits/sec), with FAT32 or NTFS file system. A full format takes about nine minutes. This mini is fabulous.
It's rubberised, so it bounced when you drop it and is waterproof. It's small enough to deserve to be called mini. But not so small that you lose it. I love mine.

I bought this mini USB stick for my son as he uses this for his school work. He loves it as its a high capacity but still compact and portable,very easy to use, and looks good. Fantastic!

I have to say this drive is not as fast as I would thought. From my test it is about half the speed of my 512M corsair voyager. Have to soft ejected by the system as well. Apart from that, the design is good.

Great looking little device and does the job. Large capacity for the size and seems like it will put up with the knocks and bumps.. BUT
What you can't see is that the hole the string goes through is made of rubber!? Not sure whos great idea that was to have such a weakness in what seems to be a tough design. Won't really be able to use it for work as I do not want to risk it getting snagged when hung on my keys or security strap... but will still be useful for putting in my bag/pocket... great storage for the price.
