Compatible with 4th generation Intel® Core™ series processors

Designed to deliver the clean, stable power your system deserves

When you build or upgrade your own system, you want a power supply that meets both your power requirements and your exacting standards for performance and noise. The entire Enthusiast Series TX V2 family has been designed to do just that. With any TX V2 PSU, you'll find the right balance between price and the features you want: high efficiency, tight voltage regulation, low ripple and noise, and thermally-controlled fan speed.

Unlike many "value-oriented" power supplies, the entire range of TX V2 power supplies are designed to continuously deliver their rated power, all the way to 50°C ambient temperature. And with the tight voltage regulation and low ripple and noise that Corsair's Enthusiast Series in known for, you'll get clean power too. No more random crashes caused by dirty or insufficient power!

All TX V2 power supplies deliver up to 85% efficiency, feature a single +12V rail for simple installation, and are compatible with the latest Intel and AMD platforms, as well as NVIDIA® and AMD multi-GPU configurations. They are even ErP ready, so your system can use as little as 1W of power in standby mode (when used with an ErP-compliant motherboard).

I was curious after hearing plenty of positive reviews about this PSU, and when I read that it was manufactured by Seasonic, who are one of the most respected makers in the industry, I knew I had to buy this. There are higher wattage units out there for the same price but it is well worth paying a bit extra for quality. It went in easy enough, looks great and will provide more than enough power. Very happy with it. My only niggle is that it does tend to get quite hot before its fan spins up, but with the case cooling I have in place, it shouldn't be too much of a concern. I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank Dabs for excellent customer service, I was genuinely impressed at how fast and easy it was to cancel the previous two PSUs I had originally ordered but which later got delayed/discontinued, all without getting charged. I had to have this done to a tight deadline and they didn't fail me. I have always been and will always be a loyal customer.

Great PSU

Bought this to power my new graphics card (Asus GeForce GTX 560Ti 830MHz 1GB PCI-Express HDMI). Couldn't be happier with it. Very easy to install, plenty of connectors and cable ties, easy to keep everything looking neat and tidy so not to disrupt the airflow. Some people have an issue with the noise, but it doesn't bother me, and anyway when my graphics card is running under full load the fan noise from that eclipses any noise from the PSU! Excellent service from Dabs, I (mistakenly) bought a different PSU originally. I had no issues returning it and getting this one to replace it.

This seems to be a quality power supply and not too bad of a price.
The one and only gripe i have is that it seems to be quite loud but i like to build quiet pc`s and could be me being over fussy.
Even so i think in future i may try to look for a quieter psu .

Purchased to replace a very noisy PSU, but to be honest there isn't much between them. Used a Corsair 650HX in another rig, and that is much quieter than the 650TX. An excellent PSU but could be a bit quieter.

Very annoying noise

Don't buy this unless you want a PSU which whines like a HDD with bad bearings.

A quick google for corsair PSU noise will reveal more. Appears to be a design flaw.
