The wood subwoofer has dual flared ports and a heavy-duty, 8-inch long-throw driver to deliver the low frequency effects required for 5.1 movies. For incredible playback levels, 6-channel BASH amplification offers up to 500 Watts of dynamic power. The multifunctional-wired remote control manages master, center, rear, treble, and subwoofer levels. It also features a headphone output for private listening.

These speakers are simply brilliant. you can have your own mini earthquake in your house they are that loud.
