Excellent product

Just plugged it in and off I went. I use it to hook up the playstation 3 to the wireless router so I can get online. I was concerned the speed wouldn't be enough as this bottom end product is limited to 14MBPS. But it's fine, I highly recommend this product.
I got hold of a reconditioned one for £32, a bargain!

I bought these to replace a wireless setup that was not reliable. Plugged units into router at one end and PC at the other and instantly worked. First Class!

I needed to get a LAN link from my house to my and my wifes "sheds" that we work form home in. These are about 30 and 40 meters form our house and are on separate mains networks, joined at the meter but separate "fuse boards", so definitely NOT on the same ring.
The dLAN kit works perfectly and removes our problem with wireless (Granaite farm house) so thats made my week!
Definitely worth a try even though they may not work for everyone (you can always e bay them!)

What can I say?
They work fine, a great alternative to wireless. I only use them for internet access, so the speed isn't an issue.
Low latency, easy to connect, and reliable.

I don't think I've ever set up a network so easily! This literally only took a few minutes from opening the box to walking downstairs and back up and testing on the laptop. It just works straight away and it seems to be nice and reliable.
I have a wireless router downstairs in the front room and needed a wired ethernet connection upstairs in the back room. So one plug is now plugged into a surge protected gang downstairs and the other one is on a seperate loop upstairs and it works really well.
Definitely worth buying if you don't want to run cables across the house and wireless is not an option!

Forget WiFi buy one of these!

This piece of kit has solved two problems: 1.Reliably connecting the wife's laptop to the home network - WiFi is a dead loss in our house as the walls seem to be made of some kind of military grade radio blocking material. 2.Connecting the workshop LINUX based CNC control PC to the internet and windows home network. I bought three modules, one for the router, one for the laptop and one for the LINUX machine, plugged them in to the mains, attached the ether cables and hey presto home net work and internet on both machines. The laptop initially didn't work because the WiFi card had disabled the ethernet based network connection - disable the WiFi card and re-enable the ether connection in control panel>network connections. The unit in the workshop needed to be plugged into a socket on the ring main rather than an extension lead to get a good connection which is fair enough. Really good solution - don't waste time with WiFi get a few of these units.

Live in a two storey house and had previously set up a Buffalo LAN. This did not have a sufficient reach. The additional bridge plus encryption + aerial was hellish complicated and I got a professional in, who could not solve it.
THIS WORKS FAST OVER THE ENTIRE HOUSE. THE SET-UP IS BANAL. ABSOLUTELY RELIABLE. FLEXIBLE.

Great product, plugged in and working in a couple of minutes. Reaches the areas that wireless cannot, or replaces the need for endless cable runs.

This is one great piece of kit.
After falling out with wireless due to drop outs and interference during gaming I thought I'd try this.
Took 5 minutes to set up (including the time taken to walk upstairs). Cable modem was plugged into the mains downstairs, then upstairs the second Devolo plugged in to my router.
Worked first time and no configuration needed on the PC.
Even worked through a couple of surge protector socket blocks.
highly recommended.
