Gigabyte Front Firewire Adapter

I have installed my Gigabyte motherboard in an Antec Sonata case. The pin out for the IEEE1394 on the motherboard is as follows:

Pin:

1 - TPA0+

2 - TPA0-

3 - GND

4 - GND

5 - TPB0+

6 - TPB0-

7 - No Pin

8 ? Power (but no voltage given?)

9 - Power

10 - GND



The pin out for the front IEEE1394 on the sonata II case is as follows:

Pin:

1 - TPA+

2 - TPA-

3 - GND

4 - GND

5 - TPB+

6 - TPB-

7 - +12V

8 - +12V

9 - Key (no pin)

10 - GND

This Gigabyte Firewire adapter is for older Gigabyte(Gb) motherboards.
Gb m'bd. GA-MA69G-S3H (Quicklinx 4LYB) has a different pin configuration to this adapter & therefore is incompatible.
Should have ordered this after receiving m'bd! Returning product.
