This all singing all dancing card was purchased for a new top end CUBE desktop PC in 2009. I already have a years old Hauppage card on another, lowish spec desktop PC. The latter is a reliable, fast, easy to use system, from my Astra satellite dish. The newer 4000 is super most of the time, except I have not found it as user friendly as I would have hoped and it is over 1 second slower than the cheaper card, despite being on a much more powerful PC. Also, it takes ages to initiate after selection. Radio and UK TV terrestial programmes seem tricky to acquire; the German ones easier. The programme recording works well, and the video clips and screen shots are great. It has up to date drivers.
So overall I give it a 3 1/2 out of 5. Would I buy it again? No, I think I'll stick to the cheaper, simpler systems.
