WinTV-NOVA-pci-t lowers the cost of digital TV reception by using your PC's processor to decode the TV image. If you have a 500MHz Pentium III or faster, you can use WinTV-NOVA-pci-t to display TV while still running other PC applications. Surf the net while you watch high quality digital TV!

Your personal Digital VCR: With WinTV-NOVA-pci-t, you can record your digital TV programs to your hard disk, and play them back to your PC screen. TV programs are recorded using high quality MPEG-2, so videos look just as good played back on your PC screen as the originals!

new drivers for 64-bit!

Works on Ubutu Linux & XP Pro

Plugged card in, loaded drivers (for XP) and was up and running in 10mins. Booted into Ubuntu (Gutsy 7.10) and installed MythTV, configured it and watching TV in 15mins. Works perfectly! This is one card that is supported well in Linux (having previously tried others) and works.

It's low cost, easy to install and setup, and seems to work well with MythTV on an Ubuntu Edgy box.

Card was detected automatically be the kernel, the only software I installed was userland stuff (mythtv, dvb-utils etc).

I'm happy.
