The Media-less License Kit is a Microsoft Office License that includes a product key - but no installation media (CD). The Medialess License Kit for Microsoft® Office Basic 2007, Microsoft® Office Small Business 2007 or Microsoft® Office Professional 2007 keys can only unlock unique installations of Microsoft Office Professional 2007 pre-installed by the PC manufacturer. These computers are identified by the manufacturer as Microsoft Office Ready PCs.
The key inside the Medialess License Kit will not activate downloadable Microsoft Office Trial versions, or retail packaged product. Please be sure that you have a Microsoft Office Ready PC before purchasing a Microsoft Office Medialess License Kit.
OEM Software Notice:
To distribute OEM System Builder software, the organization must be a System Builder and accept the System Builder License. "System Builder" means an original equipment manufacturer, an assembler, a refurbisher, or a software pre-installer that sells the Customer System(s) to a third party. OEM software may ONLY be distributed with a fully assembled computer system.
For a desktop operating system or application software, it also must be preinstalled on the hard drive of the fully assembled computer system, using the OEM Preinstallation Kit (OPK).
The System Builder that installs the software is responsible for the provision of end user support.

microsoft medialess licence kit

I bought a hp 6720 from dabs for £500 with microsoft office software installed, although i think m/s office is very good, i dont see why i should then spend another £187 on software that should already have. my children use m/s office at school and microsoft are exploiting people like us, who already find it difficult to make ends meet.
