Good but could do better

Easy to setup and use. The playback quality of recorded program is excellent. The electronic program guide (used for selecting programs to record) can take a long time to populate (upto 24 hours), which is annoying if you have only switched it on to request a recording. It very occassionally fails to record, which usually crashes the machine. This is a problem if you are away and have set many programs to record.
