Wonderful Monitor

I've been covetting this monitor for some time and finally took the plunge and bought one. The 26" widescreen is very impressive and after one day I can't believe I coped with my old 19" 4:3 for so long. The picture is sharp and the colours rich. This piece of kit is a bargain. Buy one! As usual great service from Dabs :-)

worth every penny - but...

I was not sure about spending the extra to get this monitor as it is alway out of stock. There is a reason its out of stock cos its so good. I replaced my ACER AL2416W (still good 24in but no DVI) with this 26in one. They are both the same height( about 18in/465mm) but its a little wider. The VGA/HDMI/DVI connectors at the back, with auto-detect as to which is in use. The screen is VERY bright by default (standard mode) but there there are others for Office, Gaming, Picture(Dabs web site colours are the same as in print), this is seprate from the 'temperture' 6500K/9300K. The speakers look good quality but need a wall to reflect on. So glad I got this screen - worth every penny. Downside: The colour is Black Gloss finish and is very reflective. This allows any room lighting to got into your eyes. Mine is covered with Post-It notes to matte the monitor edge so its usable. The plus side is that the surface is perfect for Post-It notes.

I have a ProLite 24" E240WS and its Megga so this week i am having SKY HD instaled upstairs and will be getting this 26" E2607WS-B1 then there is no interfearence from other receptions (priceless)

Why its always out of stock!

Selecting on of the inputs is done by nudging button#2. The screen is VERY bright by default (standard mode) but there there are others for Office, Gaming, Picture(Dabs web site colours are the same as in print), this is seprate from the 'temperture' 6500K/9300K. The speakers look good quality but need a wall to reflect on. So glad I got this screen - worth every penny.

Upgraded from old 17" Samsung. Huge display.
Brilliant colours, can't fault the picture quality. No dead spots.
Not quite as good value for money as the 22-24" you can buy, but worth the extra I think. Still a great price for a screen of this quality. Very pleased.
