If you're upgrading from any sort of low/mid range Core 2 Duo, but don't want to go as expensive as the i5/i7, then this is the CPU for you. Packs a real punch, and is ridiculously cheap (dare I say, even cheaper on ****). Product is easy to install and the stock fan works just fine. It only gets 4 stars overall because obviously there are better processors out there, but even so, this should not deter you if all want is to upgrade to a respectable gaming machine.

This processor comes up as a P3 Xeon when in xp sytem check. Not yet sure if that is correct or wether to return item for refund??
