Brilliant product for using deasktop like a laptop
Reviewed by Paul. Review Posted 24/11/2009
Brilliant product for using deasktop like a laptop - at home, of course.
I wanted to be able to sit in my recliner and use my desktop instead of my laptop which is lower spec, very hot and gives out alot of electro-magnaetic energy. Struggles with large keyboard and optical mouse balanced on the arm until this keyboard arrived. Excellent product exactly like a laptop and best price out there. There is a smaller version (340?) which would have been too small for me.
Two minor impovements for me could be bigger enter key (lack of space I guess) and slightly raised touchpad buttons so they are more easily found with the thumb or finger.

Excellent keyboard, wired USB black version of the famous 540RF!
Reviewed by Jamie Rigby. Review Posted 15/10/2008
I love the Keysonic 540 models, when i saw this version - for price it is excellent!
Silent key strokes and tacktile responce when typing. Very flat design which is very nice to feel and very good build quality. The Keyboard also has a soft skin finish, very nice to touch and scratch proof.
The touch pad is very responsive and is really the highlight of this keyboard. for cluttered desks this is the ultimate solution for a wired keyboard.

nice keyboard
Reviewed by Kevin. Review Posted 14/09/2010
This is a nice little keyboard. A little clicky when typing and the blue LED light that flashes everytime you click on a key (which indicates that its working) is very anoying but a little bit of black tape placed over it soon sorts it out..

Well...
Reviewed by Anonymous Review Posted 05/03/2010
Well, not a bad product, but I found it a little dissapointing. The touch pad is in a terrible location. The mouse keys really are very awkward to operate. The range is very limited to about 2m, and there is no software which means nothing can be configured. the touchpad is a little over sensitive so it would have been hand to configure it.

Quality not as good as previous purchase
Reviewed by Anonymous Review Posted 01/11/2010
I bought one of these keyboards about 18 months ago and it works just fine. I use it with Linux with absolutely no problems. I love it on my knee or on my desk where there may be no room for a mouse. I used it for repairing PCs where having a single usb cable connection is useful.
About 3 months ago I bought a second. The build is no so good as the first. Some of the keys required to be pushed into place and the two touchpad keys do not have a defined click; I think they are touching against the edge of the plastic mount. On reflection, I should have sent it back.
If the quality is like the first one, then I would highly recommend it.
