Excellent Card
Reviewed by Anonymous Review Posted 01/06/2007

This card is excellent. It didn't require any formatting or anything i just put it in my camera and away i was. Its 50x and 2GB storage makes it good value for money being able to store well over 1000 pictures with my 6.1mp Kodak Camera. Great value for money.

Excellent product
Reviewed by Alex Boboc. Review Posted 12/05/2006

I used Kingston Elite brand in the last 3 years (SD 256, 512Mb and now 2GB !) without any problem.

I needed a big memory for my new Kodak P880 digital camera and the minimum card that I reccomend for a 8 mil. px is 1Gb. The price for 2GB Kingston Elite is better than 2 cards on 1GB.
I can tell that the card is working flawless, and I can save easily video on VGA res or 8 mil px photos in 1 sec. I virtually have space for more 600 photos in high res. or 40 min of video MOV.
If you have a camera with at least of 5 mil px, this card will be enough for a 2 week holliday.

Failure
Reviewed by Raymond Harben. Review Posted 05/10/2008

Bought the item (£11.94) and it worked satisfactorily for 12 months then suddenly got message on camera "card error". Result - loss of 40 photos. Dabs advised speaking to Kingston. Got a complex answer. However found I could reformat card on camera. Further 20 shots and up came message again "card error". Just hope the second identical card bought doesn't go the same way.

Died soon...
Reviewed by Rytis. Review Posted 30/07/2007

Used it for 1-2 months with no issues. Then it just died in my D50. D50 said 'card error'. Although later i could reformat it in the camera. After that no other device recognises it (except d50). And it's not a formating issue, as the card is not seen as physical device. I shot over 200 raw pictures on the card, and then while importing it failed on 2 photos, could import the rest, but two files were corrupt. Buying extreme III now. Very disappointed.

Dead on arrival
Reviewed by Anonymous Review Posted 09/02/2007

Bought this as the Sandisk Ultra II 2GB was not in stock. This card was dead on arrival and couldn't be seen, read or formatted by any of my card readers on 3 different machines. Very disappointed as I thought I'd be safe with Kingston. There are comments on the packaging saying the 2GB version may need updated device drivers but I updated my device drivers and it still didn't work.
