The magicolor 2400W uses pioneer multi-pass technology, providing sharper text and vivid colors. And thanks to the Professional Color calibration, you can also count on consistent print calibration from page 1 to 100. So, your prints will always looks alike, whichever way you look at them
The magicolor 2400W is small enough to easily sit on any desk, directly next to you, without obstructing your activities in any way.
You have direct front access to paper, consumables and for maintenance. So you don't even have to move the printer to maintain it! It's as simple as that.

Excellent value for money laser printer, drivers appear to be a little flakey on one occasion meaning I had to re-install, however after downloading the latest version from Minolta I have had no further problems with them. UI for the printer setup isn't exactly intuitive but anyone with the slightest idea should manage with no undue stress. Quality of the prints and speed of the prints thus far has been excellent with very little graining on even standard low grade paper, I imagine that with quality paper and a really hi-rez shot colour pics would be supurb. Colour match appears to be ok aswel. All in all a fantastic bargain laser colour printer.

Great value...to begin with

This printer gives excellent printing quality at an affordable price...to begin with. However, when faced with a cost of nearly £350 for a complete replacement set of toner cartridges, the honeymoon period comes to a rather painful end. Minolta is not alone in charging vastly inflated prices for toner because that is how they recoup the profit for the original printer. However, when you have to pay nearly 2 x the cost of the original printer for toner replacement, it's a bit silly. It is almost worth buying a new printer every time you run out of toner, but you should be aware that the toner cartridges that come with the printer seem to be of lower capacity than even the standard cartridge, so will run out pretty quickly.
I like the printer very much - so far solid, reliable and very easy to use - but you need to start saving for running costs.
